The alarm clock buzzes way too early, even for a self-proclaimed morning person. But today isn't just any day. Today is a wedding day.

My day often begins in the "getting ready" room. Now, let's be honest, these spaces can be… chaotic. Hairdryers whirring, makeup brushes flying, dresses draped over chairs, and a general buzz of excited energy. It's my job to navigate this beautiful mess and find pockets of serenity. I watch for those quiet moments when the bride pauses to collect her thoughts, or when a family member gently adjusts a boutonniere or tie with care. In between all the motion and noise, there are small windows of calm and emotion that speak volumes.

Direct sunlight can be harsh and unforgiving, creating strong shadows and squinting eyes. It’s about finding the right angles, utilizing natural reflectors (or creating my own), and understanding how to work with the light, not against it.
